We’re in Palm Desert, CA for a few weeks. One of the fun things to do here is hike in the Indian Canyons on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. On Monday we hiked in Palm Canyon. The canyon is 15 miles long. At first you follow along a stream through the world’s largest California Fan Palm Oasis. Then the path takes you up and back over the stark, rocky desert above the canyon. There’s a beautiful contrast between the hot desert and cool oasis.
Looking back toward Palm Springs.
They have Hummingbird feeders at the beginning of the trail.
Look, ma, no hands.
