NYC – Brooklyn Heights and the Brooklyn Bridge

We’ve returned home but I will continue to share pictures of our time in New York City.  We stayed so busy it was hard to keep up with all of the pictures I took each day!

One of our days we spent exploring Brooklyn Heights.  It’s just across the East River from Manhattan.

We walked through the neighborhood around Hicks Street, past many pretty houses, some built in the early 1800s.

It was just after Halloween so lots of houses were decorated for the holiday.

Along the way we spotted this preschool “parking lot”.

There’s something special about bridges that I love.

And now I can say I’ve walked across the Brooklyn Bridge!
