Cherry Blossom Perfection in Washington D.C.

When we planned this trip we expected to be a few weeks late for the annual Cherry Blossom festival in Washington D.C.  But they had winter weather here until this week.  Yesterday it was unseasonably warm at 90 degrees (beating a record set in 1922) and our timing turned out to be perfect!  We followed the crowds to the Tidal Basin and enjoyed the view.
